One small step for the US Supreme Court. One giant step towards regulated sports betting in America.
SCOTUS Sports Betting. It’s now a thing. Want to bet?
On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, the US Supreme Court announced that they will hear New Jersey’s appeal to allow sports betting at the state’s casinos and tracks.
It’s been a long time coming. And the NHL is opening up shop in Las Vegas. And the NFL has approved the Raiders’ move to Las Vegas.
The SCOTUS Sports Betting plot thickens:
- POTUS Donald Trump was a successful casino operator at some point in the past, and has an ongoing interest in Atlantic City.
- Chief Justice John Roberts once worked for the American Gaming Association.
- Don’t ever underestimate the notorious Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
